Friends and parents, past and present, enjoyed a festive Yuletide Tea on Tuesday in The Old Library at Ranby House.
Organised by Ranby Parents' Group, two sell-out sittings of 40 were table served: fresh sandwiches, savouries, cakes, scones and macaroons on vintage china, whilst being entertained with background music by Ranby House’s resident pianist, Matthew Wright.
A small selection of Christmas stalls was set up outside, twinkling under their festive lights surrounded by the delicious aroma of mulled wine. Parents could enjoy a shop and catch-up with friends.
The event raised over £1000 on the day from the proceeds of the raffle going to RPG's chosen charity for winter 2017, Aurora Wellbeing.
Aurora Wellbeing provides a whole package of Wellbeing and support to any local people who find themselves with a cancer diagnosis. Anna Shaw, Care Navigator, spoke briefly to parents providing a valuable insight into their work.
