Worksop College at the National Tennis Competitions

. Starting the day against Boston Grammar School, it was clear that this format would be tight, with all four boys having a singles and a doubles match. The match was tied at 3-3, so a sudden death 'shootout' tiebreak was needed. Unfortunately, Boston's number one seed dominated proceedings to put Worksop into the 3^rd Place Playoff. 

Our opponents were John Kyrle High School, where again the doubles and singles were split 3-3. However, this time, Tom and Max were able to edge a nervy shootout to ensure Worksop finished in 3^rd overall. I great achievement.

Mr Heeramun, Head of Racket Sports commented "It's a real accomplishment to qualify for this during the summer term and to perform well today. Boy's tennis has grown massively at the College in recent years so I hope it won't be the last time we are here."
