Last week, during Wednesday afternoon games, a group of our students embarked on a caving adventure to ‘Bagshaw Cavern’ in the Peak District, accompanied by Teacher of Biology, Mr. Gwynne.
Sixth Former, Sabina Schneider said:
“It proved to be very good fun and everyone enjoyed exploring the novel environment, learning about the cave's history, and getting up to some mischief with all the mud down there - mud comprised of particulates originating from the glacial tundra’s of the last ice age!”
The dark, cramped and muddy subterranean conditions presented an initial challenge, especially for taking photos!
