Year 10 Take Derbyshire for Silver DofE
Last weekend, Year 10 students dusted off their hiking boots and gathered their camping supplies in a bid to complete their Silver DofE qualifier.

Last weekend, Year 10 students dusted off their hiking boots and gathered their camping supplies in a bid to complete their Silver DofE qualifier.
Last week Anya, Year 2, headed to Southview Equestrian for the Pony Winter Finals. Anya is no stranger to these competitions with many fantastic successes already. However, with it being such an esteemed competition, Anya was just delighted to have qualified.
The Y13 girls enjoyed an academic trip to the Little Brunette Bakery in Southwell, designed and run by Amelia and Jessica Wells, who are both Old Worksopians. Amelia gave our students a tour of the bakery, and explained how the food safety is managed from deliveries and storage to preparation, cooking and serving.
St Cuthbert's Way is a 100km cross-border route, linking the English and Scottish boarders. This is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable long distance routes in Britain. With this in mind, a dedicated group of staff and students from Worksop College decided to take on this glorious route.
The MT13 hockey camp proved to be a big hit with nearly 50 young players who at times braved some pretty challenging weather, rain, hail, wind sleet but which did not dent their enthusiasm and fortunately there were some lovely sunny periods.
