Pupils at Worksop College and Ranby House can benefit from a number of insurances and schemes whilst they attend our School.

Personal Accident Scheme

You will be reassured to know that all pupils are covered under this scheme at no additional cost.  The scheme provides worldwide insurance against personal accidents resulting in a permanent injury or requiring dental treatment.  The cover is not limited to the school premises and includes sports and leisure activities.

Fees Refund Scheme

In the event that a pupil is absent from school due to illness, accident or contact with an infectious disease, this scheme may enable the refund of school fees which would otherwise not be possible.  Absences of 5 days or more for day pupils and 8 days or more for boarding pupils, including weekends and half-term breaks, would qualify for refunds under this scheme.

Please see the scheme leaflet for further details and conditions.

Cover is charged at 0.63% of termly fees for boarding pupils and 0.82% of termly fees for day pupils.

Personal Effects Insurance

Please be aware that the School does not insure pupils’ personal property and parents are therefore advised to insure their child’s valuable possessions.  Should you not have alternative cover through your home insurance policy or otherwise, this policy covers possessions during term time and on school trips. £8.31 per term.
