Over the weekend, a group of our junior boarders ventured South for an exciting trip to London. Did you know Worksop College is just 1 hour and 24 minutes by train from the capital? As well as being less than 45 minutes from Sheffield, Lincoln, and Nottingham - not too bad for a site with 400 acres of countryside!
Led by Tom Massen, Housemaster of Portland House, the pupils explored London dressed in all its festive finery. Mr. Massen shared, “We had a great day out! It was a fabulous experience, especially for our international pupils, to see the capital city dressed up for Christmas.”
This trip was just one of the many adventures our junior boarders enjoy. Closer to home, they regularly visit exciting local attractions such as Meadowhall shopping centre, Airhaus trampoline park, and Laser Quest - ensuring weekends are always full of fun and variety.
Whether exploring the city or enjoying local outings, boarding at Worksop College provides pupils with enriching experiences that create lifelong memories. We can’t wait to see where the Portland House boarders head next! Watch this space!
