The Department for Education has released the latest A-level performance figures for North Nottinghamshire schools and colleges and we’re pleased to announce that Worksop College is in the very top spot.

Each school has been ranked with a points system, according to the average points per academic entry and then on the percentage of students achieving AAB or better with two facilitating subjects.

Worksop College’s point score is 36.23, meaning we have outperformed all other schools in the region to sit at Number 1.

The 2019 results saw a 100% pass rate and some stunning individual results, with a 9% increase in A-C grades on last year and a 7% increase on pupils achieving A and A* grades.

Dr Price, Headmaster at Worksop College, said: “We are very proud of all our students and of course of our committed and supportive Sixth Form Team. It’s not just about what happens in the classroom though, our programmes are about developing the whole person and that’s what a school like ours does very very well.”
