Old Worksopian and cricket player for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, Samit Patel will host a star-studded t20 match against former Notts team mate Ryan Sidebottom.

Samit will be joined by his fellow Notts Outlaws teammates, as well as Indian cricketer, Cheteshwar Pujara, who will be taking part in the match.

The charity match, which is being held Sunday 10 September, comes right after Samit played a crucial part in Nottinghamshire winning the t20 blast title, with victory over Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston on Saturday 2 September.

The event is raising money for some worthwhile charities, including: The Broad Appeal, PCA Benevolent Fund and Trent Bridge Community Trust.

The event starts at 1pm for a 1.30pm start, the entry fee is £15 per car. Refreshments available on the day.

Come and support some worthy charities, and see one of our Old Worksopians in action.
